It seems former Destiny's Child group member, Farrah Franklin, is desperately seeking a comeback and is taking extreme measures to have her presence felt.
Farrah Franklin, former member of Destiny's Child, has been hurt in the past by a previous boyfriend causing her to be very guarded with men and in her dating life.
Kevin Oh, a celebrity photographer, has only had a string of two-week relationships and is always looking for the next best thing since he only dates models.
I say this with the best intentions: Girl, move on.
As it stands now, Beyoncé, the solo artist, is an international superstar who is five albums into what has been one of the most successful careers in music history. She was being goaded into talking about something that happened 15 years ago and was clearly still feeling a ways about it.
Beyonce went on record to MTV as saying Franklin had missed three major promotional appearances which contributed to the split.
After Franklin left the group, Destiny’s Child solidified the trio that became Beyonce, Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland.
Reports surfaced that after a brief stint with the group, Franklin was fired as a member due to a missed performance during their Australian tour.
reported that the group members decided to dismiss Franklin "because she couldn't handle their grueling schedule and failed to show up for a promotional trip to Australia." In the report, Beyoncé was quoted saying the decision to let Franklin go was a decision made by all members of the group and they ultimately wished her well in all of her future endeavors. According to News and Gossip about Farrah, the singer didn't find out she was released from the group until hearing about it by watching MTV.
#Still Standing #Gods Child Don't judge what you don't know." Franklin wrote on Monday.
"The sad thing is people LIVE for drama but run from the truth, Smh.
Then there are the other former members of the group like Le Toya Luckett, who released two very good solo albums (including one platinum release) and has created very steady work as an actress. It sucks that it ended, but think of it this way: children born the year she was in Destiny’s Child – again, for five damn months or so – now have learner’s permits. Also make note that Farrah was in one music video and breathed a little bit on “Independent Women (Part One).” That’s more than many will accomplish in music, but it’s not exactly the kind of experience that should encourage anyone to keep two-stepping inside of a time machine. Michelle Williams doesn’t talk about Mathew Knowles anymore.
