Over a decade ago, the Queens, New York native (and eventual North Carolina transplant) left his corporate gig to audition for the host of the now-defunct music video countdown BET’s 106 & Park.As Rocsi Diaz’s baby faced co-host, he once proposed to Janet Jackson with a Ring Pop and on another occasion, was fed strawberries and whipped cream by the sensual music icon.She is best known as the co-host on the BET program 106 & Park from 2006-2012.

Diaz was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras but moved with her family to New Orleans, Louisiana. Rocsi announced on 106 & Park on July 30, 2009, that she suffered from anorexia during her years in middle school and high school due to her love for cheerleading.
She graduated from West Jefferson High School in Harvey, Louisiana. After growing up in New Orleans, she launched her career in Dallas, Texas, as a host on the city’s premier urban radio station, 97.9 The Beat.

As for Rocsi, she is currently a host of a radio show “Rocsi on the Radio,” preparing to launch her acting career and recently became a certified Zumba instructor.
